Muscat: The registration phase for the fourth edition of the “Together We Advance” Forum, organised annually by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers under the high directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, will conclude tomorrow. This year’s registration has witnessed strong interaction and wide participation from a broad segment of citizens.
The forum, scheduled to take place on February 8–9, 2026, aims to reinforce the principle of community partnership in decision-making and to strengthen effective communication between the government and society. It seeks to overcome challenges, address difficulties, and keep pace with national aspirations by involving citizens in the journey of development through their constructive visions and proposals in support of government policies and programs.
The forum also aims to clarify government directions and priorities at each stage, while enhancing transparency by informing society of public policies, initiatives, and programmes.
The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers will review and screen applications submitted by those wishing to attend the forum in accordance with criteria designed to ensure broad representation from all segments of society across the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, and from diverse academic and professional backgrounds.
Following the selection process, shortlisted participants will be notified via SMS to confirm their attendance.
