Seven-year-old student dies in school bus accident in Oman

MUSCAT: A seven-year-old student died after being run over by a school bus driver at a designated student pick-up point near his home in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

The Directorate General of Education in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate expressed its deep sorrow over the death of Shahem bin Masoud bin Saud Al Rumaidhi, who died in the tragic accident.

In a condolence message, the directorate extended its heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, praying to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased His vast mercy and provide his family and loved ones with patience and strength during this difficult time.

The incident involved a school bus driver at a gathering point used by students near the child's home.
