Traveling to India from Oman? You need to fill up mandatory health form

Muscat: If you are traveling from Oman to India, you must update your pre-departure checklist to include a mandatory online health declaration. India has officially relaunched its Air Suvidha portal as version 2.0, requiring all international arrivals to submit a digital health form before boarding their flights.

This measure was announced on Thursday by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), in partnership with the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). The requirement is a direct response to the World Health Organization’s May 17, 2026, declaration identifying the Ebola/Bundibugyo virus outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.

The Ministry of Health, India said in a post on X,

"Ministry of Civil Aviation & DIAL Launch AIR SUVIDHA 2.0 Portal for Ebola Health Screening at Points of Entry (PoEs) in India

Developed in Collaboration with DGHS, AIR SUVIDHA 2.0 Enables Real-Time Coordination Among Health, Immigration and Surveillance Agencies for Early Detection of At-Risk Travellers
