Credit Oman insures domestic sales worth over OMR180mn

Muscat: The total value of local sales insured by Credit Oman at the end of 2025 amounted to more than OMR180 million.

Data issued by Credit Oman showed that the Muscat Governorate topped the value of insured local sales with a value of OMR120 million, while the value of the credit ceilings granted amounted to OMR53.63 million, recording a percentage of 58 percent of the total value of sales.

North Al Batinah Governorate came in second place with insured sales valued at OMR18.86 million, with the value of the credit ceilings granted amounting to OMR10.7 million, with a coverage rate of 11 percent of the total insured sales.

Dhofar Governorate came in third place with a total value of insured local sales amounting to OMR16.66 million, with the value of the credit ceilings granted amounting to OMR9.90 million.

The value of insured sales in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate reached OMR11.90 million, with the value of the credit ceilings granted reaching OMR6.5 million.

Meanwhile, the value of insured local sales in the governorates of South Al Sharqiyah and North Al Sharqiyah exceeded OMR9 million and the credit ceilings granted amounted to more than OMR5 million.

The value of insured sales in Al Dhahirah Governorate amounted to OMR3.2 million and the credit ceilings granted amounted to OMR1.4 million.
