Workshop held to highlight Al Dhahirah Governorate's promotional identity project

Ibri: Al Dhahirah Governorate on Monday organised the main workshop for the project to develop the governorate's promotional identity.

The event was held in the presence of Tahir Mabkhot Al Junaibi, Governor of Al Dhahirah, the Walis, and representatives of government entities, alongside a selection of specialists and stakeholders in the media and marketing fields. This strategic step aims to formulate an integrated identity that reflects the governorate’s status and highlights its developmental and investment potential.

The workshop commenced with a speech by the Department of Communication and Media at the Office of the Governor of Al Dhahirah, which emphasised the importance of this pivotal stage in the process of preparing the promotional identity. The department noted that this strategic project seeks to highlight the economic, cultural, and tourism assets of the governorate and enhance its presence as a promising destination for growth and investment, embodying the authenticity of the past while keeping pace with future aspirations.

Furthermore, the workshop featured a visual presentation on the outcomes of preparatory workshops conducted across the governorate's three wilayats, which saw wide community participation reflecting the aspirations of various segments of society toward a promotional identity that expresses Al Dhahirah’s uniqueness and competitiveness. The appointment of "Identity Ambassadors" was also announced, intended to serve as active partners in promoting the identity and consolidating it within the community.

The outputs of these workshops are expected to contribute to forming a strategic database that supports the specialised technical team in developing a comprehensive promotional identity that encompasses the cultural, geographical, and economic dimensions of the governorate. This will lead to the launch of a modern institutional identity that supports sustainable development goals and consolidates Al Dhahirah's position at the local and national levels.

This project is part of Al Dhahirah Governorate’s direction toward unifying its institutional message and enhancing its promotional presence by building an integrated strategic identity that reflects its future vision, establishes its values, and supports its competitiveness across various developmental sectors.
