
Muscat: The Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre for Culture and Science announced today the addition of two new centers for the preliminary qualifiers of the Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition in its 34th edition. The new centers are located in the wilayats of Al Jabal Al Akhdar and Dima Wa Al Ta'yeen.
Yousef Mohammed Al Balushi, Deputy Head of the Preliminary and Final Qualifying Committees for the Sultan Qaboos Holy Quran Competition, stated in a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA) that this year, two new centers have been added for the competition's preliminary qualifiers in the wilayats of Al Jabal Al Akhdar and Dima Wa Al Ta'yeen, bringing the total number of centers to 28, distributed across all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
Al Balushi added that registration for the competition will remain open until 7 July. He noted that the preliminary qualifiers will begin on 3 August.
