Minister of Economy participates in swearing-in ceremony of Djibouti President

Muscat: On the Royal directive of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, Dr. Khamis bin Saif Al Jabri as Oman’s Minister of Economy, attended the swearing-in ceremony of Ismail Omar Guelleh for a new presidential term in Djibouti on Saturday.

During the ceremony, Dr. Al Jabri conveyed the greetings and congratulations of His Majesty the Sultan to President Guelleh, along with wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the people of Djibouti.

President Guelleh, in turn, asked the Omani delegation to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people.

The Omani delegation also included Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser al Rahbi,, Oman’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, in addition to several officials.
