40% of Wadi Al Maawil Park development completed

Wadi Al Maawil: Forty percent of a project to develop the Wilayat of Wadi Al Maawil Park was completed recently. The park, which lies in Afi area of ​​South Al Batinah Governorate, is in pursuance of efforts aimed at enhancing public facilities and improving the infrastructure of recreational and service facilities in the wilayat.

The project occupies a total area of 15,201 square metres. It comprises 3,508 square metres of interlock walkways, 700 square metres of epoxy walkways, service buildings, prayer halls and a 242-square metres theatre.

The project includes flower beds, a 6135 square-metres green turf, canopies, pergolas, seating areas, fountains and playgrounds.

The Wadi Al Maawil Park development is a vital municipal project that aims to enhance the quality of life and establish a suitable environment for social and recreational activities in line with local development trends in the governorate.
