Two arrested for drug trafficking in Oman

Muscat: The Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department, in coordination with the Al Dhahirah Governorate Police Command, has arrested a Yemeni national for possessing large quantities of psychotropic substance tablets intended for trafficking and personal use.

In another incident, an Asian national was apprehended by South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command for selling chewing tobacco and unauthorised cigarettes' in the Wilayat of Wadi Ma'awil.

Legal proceedings are being completed against them.
