International Forum for Educational Management, Leadership Research Group begins

Muscat: The activities of the 5th International Forum for the Educational Management and Leadership Research Group commenced today at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) under the patronage of Dr. Jokha Abdullah Al Shukaili, CEO of Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Educational Quality Assurance.

Titled "Reshaping Education for a Sustainable Future with Innovative and Inspirational Leadership," the forum discusses 282 working papers and research papers. It comes in partnership between Sultan Qaboos University, the Ministry of Education represented by the Directorate General of Curriculum Development and the Directorate General of Educational Supervision, and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation represented by the Directorate General of Universities and Private Colleges.

With the participation of researchers and speakers from 17 countries, the forum seeks to rethink the form and functions of education amidst rapid global transformations, focusing on reshaping education to become more capable of preparing generations for the future, and more sustainable and innovative.

This is achieved by enhancing educational leadership, digital innovation, and learning sustainability, in line with "Oman Vision 2040" and the Sustainable Development Goals.
