
Muscat: A telephone call took place on Wednesday between Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Dr. S Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India.
During the call, the two ministers discussed a range of issues of mutual interest related to bilateral cooperation and the strengthening strategic partnership, as the two friendly nations mark the 70th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.
They also reviewed progress toward concluding additional agreements and Memoranda Of Understanding in the coming period, aimed at delivering greater benefits and advancing shared interests, including the expansion of trade and investment ties.
The ministers further exchanged views on regional developments and ongoing efforts related to security and humanitarian coordination and cooperation.
