ROP thwarts international drug smuggling attempt in Shinas, seizes crystal meth and marijuana

Muscat: The narcotics and psychotropic substances control department, led by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police, arrested a person in Shinas while attempting to smuggle large quantities of crystal meth, marijuana, morphine and psychotropic tablets into the country. He was trying to smuggle the consignment in association with an international gang of traffickers. Legal procedures are being completed against him.
