Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of congratulations to Sanae Takaichi on her election as Prime Minister of Japan.
His Majesty the Sultan expressed his sincere wishes to the new Japanese Prime Minister, wishing her success in shouldering her responsibilities and achieving further accomplishments and aspirations for her country.
In his cable, His Majesty the Sultan hoped that ties of cooperation and partnership between the Sultanate of Oman and Japan would continue to grow in various sectors and serve the interests of the Omani and Japanese peoples.
