ROP extradites suspect wanted by Italian authorities

Muscat: As part of ongoing international security cooperation between the Royal Oman Police (ROP) and the Italian Police through the National Central Bureaus, the Directorate General of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation has carried out the judicial extradition of a person of African nationality.

The individual is wanted by the Italian authorities on charges of participating in a criminal organization involved in human trafficking and the smuggling of migrants across several European countries.
