Meeting highlights strengthening partnership with private sector in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate

Al Jabal Al Akhdar: The annual meeting titled "Partners of the Tourism Sector in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate" was held on Thursday in the Wilayat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar.

Organized by the Directorate of Heritage and Tourism in the governorate, the meeting saw the participation of various government and private entities with the aim of fostering cooperation and communication among all stakeholders in the tourism sector.

Azzan Qasim Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism, patron of the event, delivered a speech emphasising the meeting's importance in strengthening the partnership with the private sector. He noted that the forum provides a platform to exchange views for developing the tourism sector and achieving growth. He also highlighted Al Dakhiliyah Governorate's significant position in tourism and its diverse offerings that support year-round activity.

For her part, Ahlam Mohammed Al Qassabi, Director of the Directorate of Heritage and Tourism in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, stated that the meeting reviewed the latest developments in the tourism sector, including Omanisation in tourism establishments.
