Amsterdam: The Royal Navy of Oman vessel (RNOV) “Shabab Oman II” has reached a historic milestone, with its number of visitors reaching one million.
This milestone is achieved for the first time compared to the vessel’s previous voyages.
This achievement reflects Shabab Oman II’s profound presence in global memory as a maritime icon that embodies the values of peace and human harmony.
This accomplishment was achieved during the ship’s participation in the SAIL Amsterdam festival 2025, one of the world’s most prominent maritime festivals.
It adds to the ship’s impressive record as a mobile ambassador for civilizational communication, building bridges of friendship between the Sultanate of Oman and various peoples around the world.
At the port of Amsterdam, a historic scene unfolded as a young Dutch girl named Julie signed her name, becoming the millionth visitor to RNOV Shabab Oman II during its seventh international voyage, “Glories of the Seas.”
Shabab Oman II continues its noble mission of introducing Oman’s ancient maritime heritage and solidifying the country’s position on the map of international maritime events, reflecting Oman’s image as a civilizational bridge that transcends cultures.
