Royal Office Minister receives Afghanistan’s Acting FM, Ambassadors of Iraq, Romania

Muscat: Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’mani, Minister of the Royal Office received in his office on Wednesday Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the march of bilateral relations and explored means of promoting them to serve joint interests.

The meeting was attended by Chargé d'Affaires of Afghanistan’s Embassy in Muscat.

Moreover, Gen. Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office also received Qais Saad Al Amri, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the Sultanate of Oman.

The two sides explored ways to strengthen joint cooperation between Oman and Iraq. They also touched on some issues of mutual interest on the regional and international arenas.

Meanwhile, the Minister of the Royal Office also received here on Wednesday Florin Marius Tacu, Ambassador of the Republic of Romania to the Sultanate of Oman on the occasion of the end of his tour of duty as his country’s ambassador to Oman.

Al Nu’amani thanked the ambassador for his efforts in enhancing bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries, wishing him success in his future endeavors.

On his turn, the ambassador expressed his appreciation for the cooperation he received, lauding the strength of the bilateral relations between Oman and Romania.
