CPA warns against dangers of using unlicensed cosmetic services

Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) has issued a warning to the public regarding cosmetic procedures, urging individuals to avoid unlicensed establishments.

CPA said in a statement :"The Consumer Protection Authority warns consumers to exercise caution and care when undergoing cosmetic services, as they should only be performed at licensed and approved establishments by the relevant authorities."

"Since consumer protection is a shared responsibility, the authority urges consumers to report any unlicensed places such as apartments, houses, and others through the available channels of the authority," the statement added.
