Muscat: HH Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan received in his office today Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of India.
The meeting reviewed means of enhancing strategic and economic partnership between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India. It also explored areas of cooperation on a number of areas of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, Sheikh Khalifa Hamad Al Badi, Secretary General at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad, Saif Ahmed Al Sawafi, Advisor at the Office of HH Sayyid Asa’ad, Issa Saleh Al Shibani, Ambassador of Oman to India and Pankaj Khimji, Advisor for Foreign Trade and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion. Meanwhile, it was attended from the Indian side by Harsha Vardhan Agarwal, President of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry andAmit Narang, Ambassador of India to Oman.
