His Majesty to patronise over official opening of Oman Across Ages Museum on Monday

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will patronise on Monday over the official opening of Oman Across Ages Museum in the Wilayat of Manah, the Governorate of A'Dakhiliyah. The museum chronicles different historical eras in Oman. It narrates Oman’s geological transitions, comments on the life of the early inhabitants and portrays the blessed Age of the Renaissance and the accomplishments made in different sectors. It also explores the future of the country in a manner that reflects the people’s aspirations.

World Obesity Day 2023 celebrated in the Sultanate of Oman

Under the patronage of Dr. Hilal Al Sabti, Minister of Health, the Department of the National Diabetes and Endocrine Centre (NDEC) of the Royal Hospital, in cooperation with Oman Diabetes Association (ODA), Novo Nordisk Pharma Gulf and the Danish Embassy, commemorated the World Obesity Day 2023. The celebration was preceded by a brief scientific meeting where current obesity challenges in the Sultanate of Oman and the Gulf region and the outcomes of the ongoing cooperation between NDEC, ODA and Novo Nordisk were discussed.
