Urgent appeal made for O -ve blood donation in Oman

Muscat : The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has made an urgent appeal to people with O(-ve) blood type to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

"The level of the blood type O(-ve) stock in the Central Blood Bank in Baushar is very low and may only be enough for four days. We urge everyone to kindly donate blood at the earliest, " DBBS said in a statement.
