Muscat: The Royal Oman Police has arrested five expats for attempting to smuggle drugs.
A statement issued online by ROP said: "The South Batinah Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the General Administration for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, and the Coast Guard police arrest five expatriates on board a fishing boat while trying to smuggle (83) kilograms of crystal drug and (15) kilograms of morphine. Legal procedures are being completed against them. "
