Muscat: Maximum temperatures will reach the high thirties during Friday and Saturday in the coastal areas of the Oman Sea and desert areas, followed by a relative decrease in maximum temperatures on Sunday to below 30°C, Oman Meteorology said on Thursday.
A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said, "The weather summary for the next 3 days:
Opportunities for surface wind activity on Saturday, March 13th, will cause dust and dirt in parts of the governorates of Muscat, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Dhahirah, Al Buraimi, and Dhofar."
"A gradual rise of sea waves on the coasts of Musandam Governorate and the Sea of Oman is expected, starting from Friday evening, reaching a maximum height of 2.5 metres on Saturday (medium - rough)," the statement added.
