Muscat: The Sultanate jumps seven positions in the Corruption Perceptions Index 2020 to rank 49th globally. According to the Corruption Perceptions Index Report issued by the International Transparency Organization, the Sultanate also scores 3rd rank among GCC and Arab states.
The Ministry of Economy said: "As a result of the efforts made to enhance governance and transparency, Oman achieved a remarkable progress ranking 49 globally in Corruption Perceptions Index 2020 issued by the International Transparency Organization. The report focused on the global health response to COVID19."
