ROP arrests two people on smuggling, trafficking charges

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested two expats in two separate cases on charges of smuggling and tobacco trafficking in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate. 

A statement issued online by ROP said, "North Al Sharqiyah Police Command arrests two expatriates in two separate cases on charges of smuggling and tobacco trafficking, and they found in their possession a large group of smoked tobacco, chewed tobacco and its derivatives. The legal procedures for them were completed."
