Urgent appeal for O+ and B+ blood donors: DBBS

Muscat: The Department of Blood Bank Services (DBBS) has made an urgent appeal for persons with O+ and B+ blood types to come forward and donate blood.

The DBBS said in a statement, "Due to a shortage of blood donors in the last period, there is a constant need to supply units of O+ and B + blood. We appeal to everyone to take the initiative to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank at Bawshar. The timing for blood donation is from 8 am to 8 pm, on Saturday through Thursday, and from 3 pm to 8 pm on Friday. Please book your appointment to donate blood via WhatsApp at 94555648."
