Muscat: Former National Football Team Player Saad bin Obaid Al Saadi passed away yesterday, after he was admitted to the ICU having contracted Covid-19.
Al Saadi was also suffering from cancer. He was 33 years old.
Al Saadi played for the the national football team under the leadership of French coach Claude Le Roy in 2009 and he also played for many clubs in the Sultanate.
