Six arrested for robbery and illegal tobacco trade

Muscat: Six people ,four for robbery and two with 41 bags of tobacco in their possession, have been arrested.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said in a statement, "North Al Batinah Police Department has arrested four people for robbery from three different locations in the wilayat of Shinas, and legal proceedings are being completed against them."

Al Dakhiliya Governorate Police Department arrested two Asian people for possession and trade in prohibited tobacco. More than 41 bags of tobacco were seized from them, and legal proceedings undertaken.
