Muscat: Knowledge Oman, will host a seminar, focusing on the theme Enterprise and Innovation, will review entrepreneurship in Oman’s tourism sector on April 26 at 6.30pm at The Lounge.
Ali Al Rahma, Vice President of KO, said, “Knowledge Oman seminars indulge in sharing knowledge and developing various sectors in Oman.” “The first seminar of 2016 is focused on the tourism industry. We have a very diverse panel, which will enable the crowd to enrich their knowledge and hopefully make a positive impact in developing the tourism sector,” noted a statement by Seminars at Knowledge Oman.
The seminar will host two panel discussions, the first on mapping the tourism sector by understanding its past, present and future direction, and the second panel will discuss mapping opportunities for SMEs in the tourism sector, including those gaps to be overcome and opportunities to be innovative.
The panel sessions are moderated by Rumaitha Al Busaidi and Sami Al Asmi. Panelists include representatives from both the public and private sector, along with SME participation.
Attendees have the opportunity to interact directly with panelists, based upon their experiences and background in tourism in Oman, as well as interacting with SMEs in the tourism sector.
