Oman Cricket: Champions Assarain beat Enhance to maintain clean slate

Muscat: Premier Division T20 champions Assarain maintained a clean slate with a 68-run victory over Enhance at the Ministry of Sports Affairs ground last Friday.
Batting first, Assarain put on 175 for five in 20 overs. Suraj Sampath top scored with 47 and was ably assisted by Dikanshu Negi (39). In reply, Enhance managed to scored 107 for eight in 20 overs. Mehran Khan top scored with an unbeaten 36. Dikanshu Negi claimed three wickets for Assarain.
Meanwhile, team manager Vinu Mathew said: "We are very proud of this achievement as it is for the first time ever a team in Oman at the Premier level has maitained a clean slate in the T20 league."

OCT Seeb win
In an Al Ansari Group of Companies-sponsored B Division match, OCT Seeb recorded a 16-run win over Uday Khimji at the Municipality Ground IV.
Batting first, OCT Seeb put on 163 for five in 20 overs. Majid Hussain top scored with 78. Faraz Ahmed claimed two wickets for Uday Khimji. In reply, Uday Khimji were bundled out 147 in 19.4 overs with Aadil Abbas top scoring with 47. Samir Othman claimed four wickets for Uday Khimji.
