Muscat: SalamAir has announced that flights to and from Salalah could be delayed or cancelled due to cyclone Mekunu.

According to a statement from the budget carrier, flights to Dhofar could face delays or cancellations on Friday and Saturday, due to the cyclone.
In a statement online, SalamAir said, "Due to extreme weather conditions expected to affect the southernmost region of the Sultanate because of cyclone Mekunu, a few of SalamAir’s flights to and from Salalah could experience delays or cancellations on Friday (25 May) and Saturday (26 May), 2018."

The carrier added, "We kindly request our guests to contact our 24/7 Contact Centre to confirm flight departure timings before heading to the airport. All flight changes and updates will be communicated and shared on SalamAir's social media channels.
