Muscat: Enriching the lives of Oman’s future generation and supporting human growth and development, Ooredoo has sponsored and launched the Oman Digital Tutorial App, the first comprehensive education app within the Sultanate, in collaboration with Muhammed & Ann Trading.
A major digital initiative and launching as part of the company’s 2018 Goodwill Journey, the app is free of charge and includes a long list of diverse digital courses designed to support the growth of the community through both visual and audio lessons.
Raed Mohammed Dawood, director of Government Relations and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo said, “The spread of knowledge and skills is instrumental to the development of any community. We are committed to creating sustainable progress and growth, and this year’s Goodwill Journey includes a strong digital focus and product to do just that. Ooredoo is investing in Omanis of all ages by providing them with easily accessible, free, and quality digital tutorials through the App. For the first time, this app will provide a literacy course. Available to all, we are confident that this initiative will not only help students, but all Omanis looking to learn. From literacy to software, to exam preparations and everything in between, there is something for everyone to learn with the Oman Digital Tutorial App.”
The app includes courses in web design, HTML, programming, English and IELTS exams, literacy curriculums, as well as grade level specific topics for those in Grades I-XII. With additional topics to be added in the future, users can benefit from an array of subjects, presented through different digital formats including videos. Users can download the app from the Apple store or Google Play by searching for Oman Digital Tutorial.
Committed to empowering the next generation when it comes to reaching their full potential, Ooredoo works towards providing initiatives and programmes which help the youth build their skills, providing them with the confidence and ability to be the best version of themselves.
