Muscat: The Oman National Transport Company Mwasalat has slashed prices of tickets and shipping services for routes outside Muscat by 20 per cent for the month of Ramadan.
While there is no change in ticket prices within the capital, Mwasalat revealed its plans to extend operations in Muscat until midnight. Mwasalat said, “For routes within Muscat, buses will start running from 6:30 am and will go on until midnight, with bus stops available after every 15-20 minutes.”
In a statement online, Mwasalat added, “The National Transport Company of Oman (Mwasalat) announces the offer of special prices for shipping services and ticket prices for most of the routes to various governorates [outside Muscat] of the Sultanate during the holy month of Ramadan. In order to encourage everyone, especially citizens, to benefit from the services provided by the company and to facilitate mobility during the holy month of Ramadan, Mwasalat will offer a 20 per cent discount on ticket prices for most of the routes outside Muscat.”
“As for shipping services, the company will offer a 20 per cent discount on all shipping services during the holy month to encourage customers, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, to benefit from the service,” Mwasalat explained in detail.
