Muscat: The Oman National Transport Company Mwasalat will be launching its new Muscat-Ibri-Buraimi route on Friday, April 27, 2018.
Mwasalat put out a statement that read, "The Oman National Transport Company Mwasalat announces the launch of the Muscat-Ibri-Buraimi line starting on Friday, April 27, 2018, as part of the company's keenness to expand public transport network between the Sultanate's governorates. In addition to encouraging everyone, especially citizens, to use "transport" buses as a safe means of transportation on the move."
The bus will take this route: Starting at the Al Azaiba station - Muscat International Airport - Al Sahwah Tower - Nizwa Market - Bahla Market - Ibri- Dhank Roundabout -Sunaynah – Buraimi. Tickets can be bought on the bus or at the company’s office.
The company will also operate a daily back-and-forth journey in each direction when the new line is launched, with two daily trips on the Muscat-Ibri-Buraimi line. The first bus will start from Muscat at 9:30 am, reach Ibri at 1:30 pm and later Buraimi at 4 pm.
Mwasalat recently launched a number of external lines, Muscat - Barka, Muscat - Al Rustaq, Muscat - Samail, Muscat - Shannah - Masirah, The company confirms that it is moving towards the launch of new lines during this year in the province of Muscat and also between the various states of the Sultanate.
