Muscat: The Military Technical College (MTC) organised an orientation week under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Kamil bin Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Assistant Secretary General at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers.
Air Vice Marshal Mattar bin Ali Al Obaidani, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), Chairman of the MTC Board of Directors, accompanied the chief guest of the event, and senior visitors in a tour around MTC various sections to learn about the modern teaching technologies and methodologies, in addition to visiting teaching halls, labs and workshops.
The students with general education diploma, their parents and visitors were received by the college’s teaching staff and were briefed on the orientation week program.
Then, the guidance and training team took the guests and students in a tour around the sections and facilities of the exhibition, which included all sections of the college, in addition to briefing them on the MTC disciplines and facilities.
The four-day orientation program for the MTC is aimed at introducing students to the college’s courses and specialisations.
The event was attended by senior officers and officers of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and the MTC teaching staff.
