Sayyid Haitham opens Belarus exhibition at National Museum

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture and chairman of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum opened on Monday, in the presence of Yuri Bondar Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus an exhibition titled “Belarus at crossroads of civilisations”.

The exhibition was opened at the exhibitions hall at the premises of the National Museum, and will continue till July 2. The opening of the expo comes within the cooperation existing between the Sultanate and the Republic of Belarus and is aimed to further cement the cultural ties between the two countries. The theme of the expo aimed to shed light on the historic relations between Belarus and the Muslim World.
MoU signed
The visit of the delegation of Belarus to the Sultanate would see an official talks with Sayyid Haitham, discussions with officials of the Royal Opera House and signing a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Heritage and Culture (Oman) and the Ministry of Culture ( Belarus).
