Operetta on show as Taqah Festival 2018 opens on Thursday

Taqah: Activities of Taqah Festival 2018 will kick off on Thursday under the auspices of Sheikh Salim bin Mustahail Al Ma’ashani, Advisor at the Diwan of Royal Court. The festival will last till next 5 April.
The opening ceremony of the festival will include an operetta for traditional performances that depict the spirt of brotherhood and cooperation in the present and past with participation of traditional bands and schools’ students in Taqah.
Taqah Festival is organised annually that aims to revive the Omani authentic heritage, customs and traditions, as well as several cultural, social, entertainment and sport activities.
