Muscat: A total of 2,484 commercial agencies were registered in the Sultanate last year, that includes 753 new commercial agencies that were registered through Invest Easy Portal, 55 commercial agencies that were updated and 1,676 that were renewed. Apart from that, 13 agencies were cancelled.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) said that the services provided through Invest Easy portal, were created to facilitate the registration process for investors and to follow up on their transactions easily. The Ministry continues to simplify and facilitate procedures for investors and entrepreneurs by transforming all its services to self-service.
The Ministry calls upon investors, companies and SMEs to benefit from the services offered through the Invest Easy Portal and to identify opportunities in the market through which they can expand the activity of their institutions. They also want them to enhance their market share and contribute to the development and growth of institutions.
