Ministry takes action against unsafe school buses

Muscat: The Ministry of Education (MoE) has signed an agreement to help ensure safety measures for school buses, following complaints from parents in Al Sharqiyah.

"The Ministry of Education and Oman LNG signed a project agreement to supply school buses in Al Sharqiyah with safety and security equipment," said the ministry.

This comes after a number of complaints from parents regarding the safety of public school buses.

The MoE has already begun replacing the old model school buses with new school buses, in cooperation with Mwasalat.
