Muscat: The National Museum of Oman has signed an agreement with the Oman Tourism College to promote more job opportunities for local students.
According to the statement put out, this agreement will help students who are doing their hospitality management studies.
A memorandum of understanding was signed on 11 February, 2018, by the Director-General, Jamal bin Hassan Al-Moussawi, and the Dean of the college, Dr. Abdul Karim Bin Sultan Al-Mughairy.
The objective of the MoU is to enhance mutual cooperation between the two parties involved in order to develop competencies of college-going Omanis.
Additionally, the aim of the agreement is to encourage Omanis to join the tourism and hospitality sector in the Sultanate. They also want to provide vocational training, opportunities and want to develop mechanisms that will enhance visitor and education services in the museum.
