Muscat: There will be heavy to moderate rain in some parts of Oman from Friday until Sunday, an official from Oman Meteorology Department said.
According to officials at the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre, the rain is likely to affect Musandam, Oman Sea and Al Hajar Mountains, as well as "coastal areas".
"It is likely to start from Friday and is likely to continue for next three days," the official said.
In its 24-hour outlook, weather watchers said there will be mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with a chance of late night to early morning low level cloud or fog patches forming over parts of Al Dahirah and South Al Sharqiya governorates and the chance of late night low level cloud along parts of the Oman Sea coastal area causing isolated light rain.
