Muscat: Are you interested in managing an Indian School?
If yes, then you can apply to the Principal of Indian Schools by January 31, 2018.
In a circular issued on Monday, the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman, said: “The School management committees of Indian Schools require educated, socially responsible Indian nationals to participate in the management of schools (excluding Indian Schools Wadi Kabir, Ghubra and Sohar).
“Expression of interest (EoI) forms are available in respective schools and on the website (www.indianschoolsoman.com),” it said.
Individuals (preferably parents, ex parents and ex students) interested in contributing and willing to commit their time and service may apply by filling the Eol form and submit it in a sealed envelope to the Principal of the respective schools, addressed to the President of the School Management Committee latest by January 31, 2018. “A scanned copy of the EOI is also to be sent to the Board of Directors office, Indian Schools,” it added.
The Management of Indian Schools constitutes a two tier administrative system, the School Management Committee (SMC) for each School and the Board of Directors under whose guidance SMCs function.
The Board strives to ensure that every Indian child residing in Sultanate of Oman is provided with quality education and it would continue to make all efforts to further augment it for the Indian diaspora.
Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman is the apex body of the 19 Indian schools in the Sultanate of Oman, with more than 46,000 students on the rolls.
