Two agreements signed in Dhofar

Salalah: Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar, signed on Wednesday two agreements of Ateen Oasis and Ateen Walk projects with Abdullah bin Humaid Al Ma’amari, Chairman of Muscat National Development and Investment “ASAAS”.
The first agreement includes the construction of an 84,000-square-metre Oasis/Kiosk Complex in the Plain of Ateen area under a 50-year contract that includes facilities for recreational activities, commercial facilities, restaurants and gardens.
The second agreement includes the construction of a walkway project on an area of 160,000 m2 in the Plain of Ateen under a 50-year contract which includes the establishment of hotel units, and shops and sports facilities.
The signing of the agreements was attended by Sheikh Salim bin Oufit Al Shanfari, Head of Dhofar Municipality, the directors of the executing companies and a number of municipal officials.
