Oman's Higher education minister opens new campus of Al Buraimi University

Buraimi: A new university campus was opened in Buraimi yesterday.
Dr. Rawiya bint Saud Al Busaidiyah, Minister of Higher Education on Monday opened the new campus of the University of Al Buraimi which hosts four colleges: College of Health Sciences, the College of Engineering, the College of Commerce, as well as the College of Law.
The Minister of Higher Education said that the new campus of the University of Al Buraimi is an addition to the march of private higher education institutions in the Sultanate, which the ministry seeks to achieve in its policy and what’s drawn by the government in its strategies to serve these institutions to be centres of science and culture in the community, equipped with the capabilities that raise the efficiency of these institutions and achieve their goal to provide qualified human cadres to be added to the wheel of construction and progress of this nation.
She and the attendees toured the colleges and departments where she was briefed on the workflow in those colleges. The minister met with the students of the university.
