Sixth graders at British School Muscat stood before judges, competing for a “billion dollar” reward for their environmental presentations in the “Dragon’s Den - Pitch for my Plight”.
Based on the British TV show Dragon’s Den, in which entrepreneurs pitch a product to investors, otherwise known as ‘Dragons’, in hopes of completing a business deal, students have to stand before three ‘Dragons’ and give a presentation about their chosen environmental issue – which can be locally or globally- and persuade judges to choose their presentation.
The winner will receive a ‘billion dollar’ reward for the best presentation.
