Riyadh: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highnes Sayyid Asa’ad bin Tariq Al Said took part on Wednesday in the annual camel race, which is part of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture (Al Janadriyah 2017).
The race was run in Riyadh under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia (KSA).
During activities of the ceremony, King Salman received Sayyid Asa’ad, who conveyed greetings of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques along with His Majesty’s best wishes to him and the brotherly Saudi people further progress.
Sayyid Asa’ad arrived in Riyadh earlier on Wednesday as he was received at King Khalid Airport by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Riyadh. During the visit, Sayyid Asa’ad is accompanied by Sayyid Dr. Ahmed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Sultanate’s ambassador to the KSA, Khalifa bin Hamad Al Badi, Advisor in the Office of His Majesty the Sultan’s Representative, Saif bin Ahmed Al Sawafi, Advisor in the Office of His Majesty the Sultan’s Representative and Sheikh Said bin Saud Al Ghufaili, Chairman of Oman Association for Camel Races.
