Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Political Affairs receives French official

Muscat: Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, today received Guillaume Ollagnier, Director-General for International Relations and Strategy at the French Ministry for the Armed Forces and Veterans.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the rapid developments taking place in the region, as well as issues of common concern.

The French official expressed his country’s appreciation for the positive role of the Sultanate of Oman, notably Oman’s efforts of de-escalation and mediation.

The meeting was attended by Yousef bin Ahmed Al Jabri, Head of the Europe Department at the Foreign Ministry, Nabil Hajlaoui, Ambassador of the French Republic to the Sultanate of Oman, and several other officials from both sides.
