Sayyid Shihab meets British Secretary of State for Defence

London: His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, met on Wednesday in the British capital, London, with Wes Streeting, Secretary of State for Defence of the United Kingdom. This meeting took place within the framework of the state visit undertaken by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the United Kingdom.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the friendly United Kingdom, as well as ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, particularly the existing military cooperation between the two countries’ defence ministries. They also discussed a number of topics of mutual interest.
