MoU inked to develop infrastructure, investment for Aims Bay Project in Musandam

Muscat: Musandam Governorate signed today a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Al Sarooj Development Company to cooperate in developing the infrastructure and investment components of the Aims Bay Project. This falls within efforts to promote tourism investment and to leverage the natural and marine assets with which the governorate is endowed.

The MoU was signed on behalf of the governorate by Sheikh Abdullah Salim Al Farsi, Wali of Khasab, and on behalf of the company by Sulaiman Khamis Al Qasmi, Chief Executive Officer of Al Sarooj Construction. The signing took place on the sidelines of the "Urban October" events.

The project aims to enhance infrastructure and prepare promising investment opportunities that contribute to stimulating economic and tourism activity in Musandam Governorate by leveraging the natural and marine assets for which the bay is distinguished.

The initial vision for the project includes developing the waterfront, establishing a boat marina, and providing quality tourism and service facilities. These measures will enhance the area's appeal as a tourism and investment destination and support economic development efforts in the governorate.
