Seven arrested over electricity station sabotage and theft in North Al Batinah

North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command has apprehended seven individuals with prior criminal records for their alleged involvement in a series of sabotage and theft incidents targeting electricity distribution stations.

According to police, the suspects are linked to 18 separate incidents at several electricity distribution stations across the governorate. The acts of vandalism and theft damaged electrical infrastructure and resulted in power outages in some areas, disrupting electricity services for residents.

Following investigations into the incidents, police identified and arrested the seven suspects. Authorities said the individuals had previous criminal records.

The suspects are being dealt with according to legal procedures.
